High School Football Thursday Scores/Highlights

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - The high school football season kicked off on Thursday to avoid Friday's expected wet weather, but that didn't stop the rain from impacting the night's action.

NOTE: Only one of the games in the WITN viewing area was able to be completed because of storms across the area Thursday night.

Riverside 54 - Bertie 50

Tarboro 6 - Rocky Mount 0 (PPD in 2Q)
This game is cancelled and will not be made up, according to the Tarboro Football Twitter account.
D.H. Conley at Northeastern (PPD)
This game will be made up on Monday, August 26 at 7 p.m. at D.H. Conley High School.
Washington Count at Pasquotank (PPD)
This game will be made up on Friday, October 4.
