Farmville Central names Eddie Rhodes new head football coach

FARMVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - Farmville Central formally named Eddie Rhodes as its new varsity head football coach Monday morning inside the high school gymnasium.

"Farmville has always been a great football school; has a great athletic tradition," said Rhodes during his introductory press conference. "I hadn't coached football at the high school level for a while, and I just wanted to get back into it, and Farmville is a great opportunity. We have a great principal here, a great athletic director, and our sports programs are very good, so I think Farmville is a good fit for me."
