Statement from ECU AD Jon Gilbert via 247 HTC
"As today's announcement indicates, we are moving forward without Virginia Tech on our future football schedules. I am hopeful that we can possibly revisit a series with Virginia Tech, but our top priority over the past nine months has been finalizing our football schedule for future seasons. Our primary goal is to provide a competitive home schedule for our team and our fanbase. We will continue to evaluate our future football schedule and make the necessary adjustments as we move forward."
