ECU to join in Hurricane Florence food drive

GREENVILLE, N.C. – In order to help those affected by the devastation of Hurricane Florence, ECU Athletics will take part in East Carolina Undaunted’s Hurricane Florence Food Drive.

As part of East Carolina Undaunted’s Hurricane Florence Food Drive, which was created by East Carolina University, ECU Athletics will be collecting items at each home event next week. Items will be collected for the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina. Water and beverages are currently the items most in need, but a full list of approved items can be found here.

Fans who attend either of the soccer matches in Johnson Stadium or any of the three volleyball matches in Minges Coliseum next week will receive free admission with each donated item.

Additionally, during Saturday’s football game against Old Dominion, ECU will be collecting donations at various locations throughout Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium. Further details and a map of these locations will be provided early next week.
