Sour cream – One 16-ounce container
Bacon bits – One 3-ounce bag
Cheddar cheese – 16 ounces shredded (2 cups)
Hot sauce – 1-3 teaspoons, depending on your taste. I use 2.
DirectionsMix these ingredients together. This dip is best if it is chilled for several hours before serving.
Add bacon bits, chives, a shake of black pepper, whatever you desire, as a garnish before serving. You can also add chives to the dip itself, depending on your taste. About a fourth of a cup works great.
Now, here comes the potato part. Bake up a bag of waffle fries as instructed (any kind will do) and serve with the dip!
