Oriental Salad


  • 2 pkgs beef flavored Ramen noodles
  • 16 oz broccoli slaw (or shredded slaw mix and small broccoli flowerets)
  • 1 bunch green onion, sliced if available
  • 1 cup sunflower kernel seeds
  • 1 cup slivered toasted almonds (okay if not toasted) Mixed nuts will work, also.


  1. Crush noodles in the pkg. Place crushed noodles and flavor pack contents in a large bowl, adding slaw, onions, seeds and nuts.

  2. Mix together in a small bowl:
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 1/3 cup vinegar
    • 3/4 cup oil

  3. Pour mixture over slaw mixture, stir well and chill.
