Wilson police searching for suspect involved in a fatal shooting

Wilson police are investigating a shooting that happened near the Speedway at 1602 Martin Luther King Boulevard Friday night.
Officers say they dispatched to the scene at MLK Boulevard just after 9:30 p.m. regarding a shooting. They located 16-year-old Luis Bravo suffering from a gunshot wound in the area of 1700 Freeman Street.
Officers say they attempted life-saving techniques but, Bravo died from his injuries. The Wilson Police Department is encouraging anyone with information regarding this case to contact the Wilson Police Department at 252-399-2323 or Crime Stoppers at 252-243-2255.
