WAYNE COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - A 40-year-old man is charged with sex crimes involving an 11-year-old, according to deputies.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office arrested and charged Daniel Louk with statutory rape of a child by an adult. Louk is accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old.
Authorities say Louk is a registered sex offender and was homeless in Cumberland County.
He was arrested in Fayetteville with assistance from the Sex Offender Registry Division of the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.
Louk is currently being held on a million dollar bond.
