W.C. Chance East End school alumni hosting Black History Month program

ROBERSONVILLE, NC (WITN) - The W.C. Chance - East End School's Alumni annual Black History Month program and scholarship fundraiser will be held on Saturday, February 16 at Middle Ground Roanoke Missionary Baptist Tabernacle in Robersonville.

The annual event's theme for 2019 is the black church "Then and Now."

The service will feature several music groups and a keynote speaker.

There will also be free food served in the fellowship hall immediately afterwards.

Organizers are hoping to raise scholarship funds for Martin County high school seniors looking to further their education.

The church is located at 3314 Robert Everett Rd. in the Gold Point community.
