Greenville teen shot at Beulaville McDonald's dies; other victim identified

BEULAVILLE, NC (WITN) - The SBI says one of two teenagers who were shot last week outside an Eastern Carolina McDonald's has died.

The shooting happened last Thursday night in the parking lot of the McDonald's on West Main Street in Beulaville.

Randy Rolla, 19, of Greenville, was transferred to Vidant Medical Center that night. The SBI said today that Rolla died on Friday.

The other victim has been identified as 19-year-old Michael Bryant, Jr., of Pollocksville.

The SBI says their investigation into the deadly shooting is ongoing.

The SBI is helping Beulaville police investigate a shooting Thursday night at a McDonald's Restaurant.

Police say the two people were shot in the parking lot of the West Main Street business around 8:30 p.m.

Both were initially taken to Vidant Duplin Hospital, and one transferred to Vidant Medical Center with serious injuries.

The two gunmen ran from the crime scene before officers arrived.
