Two men charged in armed robbery of Tarboro Jewelry store

TARBORO, NC (WITN) Two men face charges for their alleged roles in a robbery last year of a jewelry store in the east.

Tarboro Police say 27-year-old Saquan Tillery is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and assault inflicting serious injury.

Police also arrested was 27-year old Daquan Tillery for possession of stolen property. No mug shot was available for him.

Investigators say that Saquan is responsible for the November 26th robbery of Rex Jewelers where an employee was assaulted.

Police say that the men spent several days pawning the items at stores in Ayden, Kinston and Norfolk, Virginia.

Daquan was arrested on December 10th and Saquan was finally located by U.S. Marshals on February 8th in Chesapeake, Virginia where he's being held without bond.
