Two Sneads Ferry residents arrested on heroin charges in Walmart parking lot

Two Sneads Ferry residents are behind bars on a slew of drug charges after deputies approached them in a Walmart parking lot.

Onslow County deputies say they were working with Jacksonville police and Naval Criminal Investigative Service on an investigation that heroin could be coming to Jacksonville on December 6th.

Deputies say they saw two of the suspects in the parking lot of the Walmart on N. Marine Blvd and when they approached, 31-year-old John Fabry ran away. Fabry was quickly taken into custody.

Fabry is charged with trafficking heroin by possession, trafficking heroin by transport, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver heroin, manufacture heroin, felony conspiracy, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Detectives say they found 21 grams of heroin in Fabry's pocket and 12 grams in a backpack he was carrying. He is in the Onslow County Detention Center under a $325,000 bond.

Deputies also arrested 33-year-old Ericka Stahl. She is charged with trafficking heroin, conspire to traffic heroin, possession of marijuana up to half an ounce, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $302,500. Deputies say she had seven grams of marijuana when she was taken into custody,
