Two New Bern men arrested for drug trafficking after high-speed chase

JONES COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) -- Two New Bern men were arrested following a high-speed chase through two counties in the east, according to a Facebook post from the Jones County Sheriff's Office.

The two suspects were apprehended after leading officers on a high-speed chase through Jones and Onslow Counties on December 11, says the post.

Malcolm Goodman, 28, of New Bern, was arrested for felony flee to elude arrest, trafficking in MDA/MDMA, PWIMSD SCHEDULE I (mdma), conspiracy to traffic MDA/MDMA, and PWIMSD SCH VI (marijuana). No bond is set.

Christian Rory-Derrick Martin Strayhorn, 23, of New Bern, was arrested for trafficking in MDA/ MDMA, PWIMSD SCHEDULE I, conspiracy to traffic MDA/MDM, PWIMSD SCH VI (marijuana), and probation violation. Secured bond is set for $100,000.

The Jones County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Onslow County Sheriff's Office and Maysville Police Department.
