"Tubs of Love" campaign at BCCC to benefit Ocracoke

BEAUFORT COUNTY, N.C. (WITN)- A community college in the east is doing its part to try and help out hurricane-ravaged Ocracoke.

Beaufort County Community College announced its "Tubs of Love" campaign taking place on campus.

Launched by the Student Government Association, black storage containers will be placed centrally in all of the classroom buildings on campus for people to place donations in.

The donations will go directly to Hyde County government.

The campaign will run through mid-November.
