Cristobal has dropped from a tropical storm to a tropical depression. It has cleared the Louisiana-Arkansas border, moving north at 18 mph. It will continue along this northerly track for the next several days, degrading to a post-tropical low late Tuesday.

Eastern Carolina will feel zero direct impacts from Cristobal, however, as it becomes a post-tropical low, it will develop a cold front that will move into the East Thursday and Friday. This will lead to an increased chance of showers and storms over that two day stretch.
