GREENVILLE, NC (WITN) - Wednesday is the last day to bring your unwrapped, new toys to our studio on Arlington Boulevard for the Toys for Tots drive.
it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in our studio after weeks of wonderful, generous donations.
Volunteers with Toys for Tots will arrive later this week to collect the hundreds of toys already donated.
You can still come and donate between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5 and drop off a toy for a child in need this Christmas.
We're working to support thousands of families right here in Eastern Carolina.
Once Toys for Tots collects our pile, the toys will be distributed to families in time for Christmas.
WITN will be an official drop-off location for Toys for Tots now through December 5th.
The Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation helps provide gifts to families who might not be able to afford them otherwise. In 2017, Toys for Tots provided presents for more than 22,000 children in Pitt County alone.
Most of the Christmas gifts go to children under the age of 14.
You can drop off a new, unwrapped toy at WITN's Greenville studio at 275 E. Arlington Blvd. Monday-Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
We'll be collecting gifts until December 5th, when Toys for Tots volunteers will pick them all up for distribution.
Please note, toy weapons and food items are not accepted.
