Two brothers and a third man charged with a rash of armed robberies against a dollar store chain went before a judge Tuesday morning.

Greenville police arrested Trivanti Teele, 36, Marcus Speller, 27, and Tony Speller, 25, Sunday night after they say they were seen casing the Dollar General in Bethel.

They're accused of robbing multiple Dollar General stores dating back to November.

Police say the first holdup happened on November 28 at the Charles Boulevard location in Greenville. Another robbery happened December 15 at the Dollar General on Highway 13 South in Snow Hill.

On January 5, a third robbery happened at the Highway 33 West store in Pitt County. Police say they also attempted to rob the store in Bear Grass and on Dickinson Avenue in Greenville this month.

A judge set Teele's bond at $110,000. The man plans to hire his own attorney.

The Speller brothers are both being held on $75,000 bonds. The judge said he will appoint them attorneys.

All three men have next court dates set for February 6th.

The three are currently charged with offenses in Greenville and Pitt County and police say more charges are coming in the case.
