A Greenville man who has only played the state lottery three times has won $1 million.

Cameron Grice of Winterville bought his $10 ticket at the Sheetz on County Home Road. He won the loot by playing the 10th Anniversary Millions scratch-off game.

"I don't normally play the lottery," the UPS worker said. "This is only like my third time playing."

Grice claimed his prize money today at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. By choosing a lump sum payment, he received $415,503 after state and federal taxes were withheld.

The man plans to use the money to get a car and a condo.
