Terra Ceia Christian School - Chase Furlough

CHASE FURLOUGH
BIOGRAPHY:
My name is Chase Furlough and I’m a senior at Terra Ceia Christian School where I’ve attended since Kindergarten. I’ve always felt like Terra Ceia has been an extension of my family and know I’ve been blessed to have received a Christian education.

I grew up in Roper enjoying everything outdoors. I’ve hunted and fished as long as I’ve been able to walk and have had many opportunities to participate in the outdoor sports I love as a result of growing up in Eastern North Carolina. I’ve fished offshore and in the rivers and sounds as well as hunted deer, black bear and turkey. My passion, however, is duck hunting. I love to go out on an icy winter morning with my black lab, Ruger, and break through the ice to a blind and call in the ducks. I can’t imagine having grown up anywhere else. Working with Cross Trail Outfitters during summers has allowed me to share the outdoors with boys that don’t usually get these opportunities.

While at Terra Ceia I’ve played soccer, basketball and baseball and participated on the leadership team each year. I’ve also participated in choir, beta club and chapel committee. Terra Ceia has offered me many opportunities to learn and grow while the teachers and administrators have encouraged and fostered my academic as well as my spiritual growth. I’m excited to bring my years at Terra Ceia to a close as I believe I’ve been given a solid foundation for my future success.
