PITT COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - Funeral arrangements have been made for the two people who died in a wreck earlier this week.
55-year-old Carol Glisson from Chocowinity and 20-year-old Jordan Williams from Winterville died in a crash on Highway 33 East in Pitt County.
The Highway Patrol says Williams crossed the center line and crashed into Glisson.
Glisson's funeral is Friday, January 17 and a memorial service will be held for Williams Saturday afternoon.
Troopers say that a second person has died following a head-on crash Monday morning.
The Highway Patrol says that Jordan Williams, 20, of Winterville, was driving east on Highway 33 East in Pitt County when he crossed the center line and crashed into Carol Glisson, 55, of Chocowinity.
Williams was pronounced dead at the scene while Glisson died later.
The report shows that Glisson's vehicle then hit a third vehicle.
Nobody in that third vehicle was injured in the collision.
One person is dead and another is in the hospital following a three car crash early Monday morning.
State troopers say the crash happened on Highway 33 East in Pitt County around 5:45 a.m. on Monday.
The Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash. The Simpson Fire Department is also assisting.
Troopers advise drivers to avoid the area.
