A statewide campaign is working to make sure you stay safe at work.
This week marks Safe + Sound Week in our state. It's a campaign run by OSHA to encourage workplaces to implement safety and health programs.
Kevin Beauregard, who works with OSHA, says there has been an uptick in work-related fatalities this year.
He says that's why businesses should prioritize worker safety to reduce illness, injuries, improve compliance with laws and regulations and increase overall productivity.
Last year, more than 2,700 business across the country joined the campaign.
