Silver Alert Canceled: Man found safe in Greenville

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - Silver Alert canceled after man was found safe in Greenville, according to police.

Milbert Evans was reunited with his caregivers Saturday after being reported missing less than 24 hours earlier, Greenville Police said.

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a man last seen in Greenville.

The Greenville Police Department is looking for Milbert Evans, 41. He's believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Evans is described as having short black hair, brown eyes, about 5'10" and 225 pounds.

Deputies say Evans was last seen at Captain D's Seafood on Memorial Drive around 5:00 p.m wearing jeans, a black zip-up jacket and brown tennis shoes.
