GREENE COUNTY, NC (WITN) - A statewide Silver Alert has been canceled for a missing Greene County woman.
Greene County deputies issued the alert for Brandy Hancock early Thursday. It was canceled Friday afternoon.
Hancock was visiting her son in Florida, according to deputies.
A Silver Alert is out this morning for a missing endangered woman.
The Greene County Sheriff's Office is looking for 40-year-old Brandy Hancock who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
She's described as a woman with medium-length blonde hair and hazel eyes. Hancock is 5'8" tall and weighs 140 pounds. She was wearing a blue V-neck T-shirt and blue jeans when she was last seen on US-13 North in Farmville.
Hancock might be driving a dark blue 2005 Lexus RX-330 with a North Carolina license plate number FCZ-9236.
