GREENVILLE, NC (WITN) - Eastern Carolina is losing another Sears location as the troubled retailer sheds even more stores.
The company said it's Greenville location on South Memorial Drive will close by February.
Sears Holdings announced today that it will shutter 51 Sears locations, along with 45 Kmart stores.
Going out of business sales at the Greenville location is expected to begin December 2nd.
The store was originally an anchor at the old Carolina East Mall, but when the mall was closed and torn down the store became a freestanding location.
After Greenville closes, the last Sears location in Eastern Carolina will be in Jacksonville.
