SILVER ALERT: Police cancel alert for woman last seen in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - A statewide Silver Alert has been canceled for a woman last seen in Jacksonville.

Jacksonville police were looking for 37-year-old Alicia Robinson, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

The alert was issued late Wednesday night but canceled around 1:45 p.m. Thursday.

Police say Robinson was found safe in Jacksonville.

A statewide Silver Alert has been issued for an Eastern Carolina woman last seen in Jacksonville.

Jacksonville police are looking for 37-year-old Alicia Robinson, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Robinson is described as a black woman with long black/orange hair and brown eyes. She's 5' and about 200 pounds.

Robinson was last seen on Western Blvd. in Jacksonville wearing a black hoodie, black pants and black/white shoes. She was also carrying a large black purse with brown straps.

Police believe she was headed toward Greenville.
