SILVER ALERT: Missing Pitt County teen found

PITT COUNTY (WITN) - A teenager who was the subject of a statewide Silver Alert has been found.

Kirsten McMahon, 19, was found safe, according to the Pitt County Sheriff's Office.

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing teenager out of Pitt County.

The Pitt County Sheriff's Office is searching for Kirsten McMahon, 19, who was last seen at 1811 Black Jack Simpson Road.

McMahon, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment, is 5'9" and weighs 160 pounds. She has brown hair and green eyes.

She was wearing a light blue short sleeve shirt, blue jeans and gray Converse tennis shoes when she was last seen.
