Reward offered for information leading to arrest in deadly drug shooting

CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - A reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in a drug-related shooting in Craven County.

The Craven County Sheriff's Office says they are still looking for the suspect or suspects responsible for the shooting that happened at the Gracie Farms Mobile Home Park outside of New Bern Sunday night.

Major David McFadden says 25-year-old Corianna Cox of New Bern was killed in the shooting and 26-year-old Carlo Lacombe was wounded.

Paris King was charged with trafficking heroin in connection to the case. She is being held on a $1 million bond and McFadden says there are no additional charges against her at this point.

Deputies have released the names of a woman killed and a man wounded in a drug-related shooting Sunday night in Craven County.

Major David McFadden says 25-year-old Corianna Cox, of New Bern, was killed in the shooting at Gracie Farms Mobile Home Park outside of New Bern.

Wounded in the shooting was 26-year-old Carlo Lacombe. McFadden says Lacombe is from the New York area and they believe he is still being treated at Vidant Medical Center.

There have been no additional arrests in the case, according to McFadden, who added they continue to work on very active leads.

One woman is dead and another man injured following a shooting at a mobile home park in Craven County.

Craven County Sheriff Chip Hughes says it happened around 11 p.m. Sunday night at the Gracie Farms Mobile Home Park just outside of New Bern.

Sheriff Hughes says he believes the shooting was drug-related. The victims' names have not been released.

The man was transported to Vidant Medical Center but is expected to be okay.

No one else has been charged, but Sheriff Hughes says he anticipates more arrests.

The Craven County Sheriff's Office is investigating with the SBI and New Bern police.
