The Small Business Administration announced today that certain private non-profit businesses in our state may now be eligible to apply for low-interest rate disaster loans.
The loans were made available after a presidential declaration for public assistance following Hurricane Dorian.
Businesses can borrow up to $2 million to repair or replace damages with an interest rate of up to 2.75% and terms up to 30 years.
Private non-profit businesses in Brunswick, Carteret, Craven, Currituck, Dare, Duplin, Hyde, Jones, New Hanover, Pamlico, Pender, Sampson, Tyrrell and Washington counties are eligible to apply.
