SBA Disaster Loan Outreach Centers open Friday

Households and businesses impacted by Hurricane Dorian may be able to get some additional help.

The Small Business Administration is opening Disaster Loan Outreach Centers in Carteret, Dare, Hyde and New Hanover Counties on Friday, October 18 at 11 am. SBA representatives will be on site to answer questions about the disaster loan program and help people fill out their applications.

The offices are located at the Carteret County Board of Elections Office in Beaufort, the Old PNC Bank in Buxton, the Variety Store Parking Lot on Ocracoke and the New Hanover Co. Public Library NE Branch in Wilmington.

All offices are open M-F from 9 am- 6 pm and Saturdays from 10 am- 2 pm until Halloween.

The loans were made available through a SBA disaster declaration for Carteret, Dare, Hyde, New Hanover, Beaufort, Brunswick, Craven, Currituck, Jones, Onslow, Pamlico, Pender, Tyrrell and Washington Counties.
