Reward offered for murder in Northampton County

A reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in an unsolved murder case.

Governor Cooper says the state is offering a reward of up to $5,000 in the murder of Robert Hale.

Hale, also known as Cowboy, was shot and killed in the Hardee's parking lot in Gaston back in June. Hale was a commercial truck driver and was found lying between his commercial truck and personal car.

Anyone with information should call the Gaston Police Department at (252) 537-1047, Northampton County Crimestoppers at (252) 534-1110, Halifax County Crime Stoppers at (252) 583-4444 or the State Bureau of Investigation at (919) 662-4500.
