Powerball soars to nearly $500 million

The Powerball jackpot has soared to nearly $500 million.

The lottery is still looking for its first jackpot winner of 2019 to take home a grand prize of $495 million after no one matched all six numbers Wednesday night. Those numbers were 69, 36, 45, 47 and 18. The red Powerball number was 14.

Lottery officials say two lucky people in New York won $1 million, while one person in Florida took home $2 million after matching some of the numbers.

Statistically, there's a one in 292 million chance of matching all six numbers.

If you were to win, you could end up taking $300 million home after taxes, which would be the eighth-largest jackpot in the game's history.

The next drawing will be Saturday night at 11 p.m. You can catch that on WITN News.
