Police seek gunman who shot Warsaw man in broad daylight

Police in Duplin County are looking for the person who shot a man in broad daylight this past Friday.
Warsaw Police Chief Eric Sutherland says that the shooting happened around 12:15 p.m. in the parking lot of the Golden City Chinese Restaurant on South Pine Street.
Police say that John Winston, 24, of Warsaw, was shot in once in the jaw and mouth area.
He was taken to Vidant Duplin Hospital where he was airlifted to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. His condition is not known at this time.
Investigators say that the suspect was a heavyset black man with dreadlocks driving a golden car with a broken rear window.
