Police looking for driver after man struck on New Bern bridge

NEW BERN, NC (WITN) - Police are asking for the public to help them find the driver of a car that struck a pedestrian Monday evening.

New Bern police say 55-year-old Charles Scott was injured around 5:35 p.m. on the eastbound lane of the twin span bridge.

He was taken to CarolinaEast Medical Center where he remains in stable condition.

Police are looking for an older model white Nissan Maxima.
