ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (WITN) - Rocky Mount police have identified three men killed in two separate weekend shootings.
Police say 31-year-old Kestler Bridgers and 39-year-old Torrey Hill were the victims of a double homicide along Carroll Avenue. Officers found the men dead near the 4400 block of Carroll Ave. around 9 pm Saturday.
The Rocky Mount Police Homicide Unit is investigating the case but no suspects have been identified publicly.
Less than 24 hours later, police were called to a second shooting.
Officers responded to Union Street around 4:40 pm Sunday where they found 20-year-old Mikell Sheridan dead of an apparent gunshot wound.
Police say all three men were from the Rocky Mount area.

The Rocky Mount Homicide Unit is investigating a shooting that killed a man Sunday evening less than 24 hours after a double homicide, according to a press release.
Officers responded to a shot spotter activation call around 4:40 p.m. along the 200 block of Union Street.
Once on scene, police found a man had been shot dead, according to officials.
The name of the victim has not yet been released.

Around 9 p.m. Saturday night, the Rocky Mount Police Department responded to a shots fired call in the 4400 block of Carrol Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers found two male victims who were shot and killed on scene.
The identities of the victims have not yet been released.
The Rocky Mount Homicide Unit is actively following up on all leads.
