WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) - Authorities say a man found shot to death in a parking lot of a North Carolina shopping center likely knew his killer.
Winston-Salem Police said 21-year-old Jordan Gabriel was found wounded in the driver's seat of a car around 8:45 p.m. Friday. He died a short time later at the hospital.
Police said in a statement they are still trying to sort out what happened, but it appeared the shooting wasn't random and Gabriel knew who killed him.
Authorities say it is the 14th homicide in Winston-Salem in 2018, compared to 15 killings during the same period in 2017.
