Victim identified in Pitt County homicide

The victim in Monday's homicide in Pitt County has been identified.
Deputies say 49-year-old Kyle Graham was found dead at his home Monday afternoon outside of Grifton.
They believe the man was shot. No murder weapon was found at the scene and so far no one has been arrested for the murder.
Graham had a lengthy criminal record dating back to 1990. His convictions include assault with a dead weapon, and drug possession. The man was last released from prison in 2012.
Deputies in one Eastern Carolina county are investigating a homicide Monday afternoon.
Pitt County deputies were called around 12:45 p.m. to a home on Wiley Gaskins Road outside of Grifton after a person was found dead.
Deputies learned the homeowner had been shot and there was no weapon found at the scene.
Sheriff Neil Elks says foul play is suspected, and he is calling the death a homicide.
The name of the victim hasn't been released.
