Suspected Pink Hill gunman turns himself in

The Pink Hill Police Department says a man wanted in a shooting has turned himself in.
The Pink Hill Police Department Wednesday offered a $500.00 reward for information leading to the arrest of John Kennion Jr.
Police say Kennion turned himself in Wednesday afternoon and is being held on $500,000 bond.
He was wanted for a shooting last week that injured a woman.

The Pink Hill Police Department is now offering a $500 reward for information that leads to the arrest of a suspected gunman.
Police Chief Joey Thigpen says that John Kennion Jr. remains at-large as the suspect in a shooting that happened around 5am on Friday, December 8th.
Police believe Kennion is the person who shot 19-year-old Sh'quasha Sterling in the lower back. She remains at a local hospital where she is recovering from her injuries.
Police have taken arrest warrants out on Kennion for Assault with a Deadly Weapon With Intent To Kill Inflicting Serious Bodily Injury and Assault With a Deadly Weapon With Intent to Kill.
Police believe Kennion is on the run and should be considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone who knows anything about his whereabouts should call 911.

Police say they are looking for a man still on the run after they say he shot a woman early Friday morning.
Pink Hill police say they were called out to a home on Hunter Street around 5 a.m. Friday for a report of someone shot.
Witnesses told investigators numerous people were at the home when an argument began.
Officers say Kennion shot 19-year-old Sh'Quasha Sterling in the lower back area with a handgun. She was taken to the hospital and her condition is unknown at this time.
Warrants have been obtained for John Everette Kennion, Jr., 34, for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious bodily injury and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. Pink Hill police say he also goes by the name Ray-Ray.
He is still on the run and officer say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
