GREENVILLE, NC (WITN) - This week's Pet of the Week from the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina is Wilbur.
Wilbur is an adorable, two-month old shepherd puppy.
He is one of six siblings who has spent his entire life in a foster home. During that time, he has already learned how to “sit!”
With lots of training, consistency and treats, volunteers say he will thrive in a loving home.
You can meet adoptable pets and bring your own pup out the the Canine Crawl this Sunday, November 10 from 1- 5 p.m. at the Greenville Town Commons.
The event, which was rescheduled due to weather, will celebrate pets and raise money for the humane society. It will feature live entertainment, shopping, vendors, a 1-mile canine crawl and more.
Animal rescues from around the region will be at the event with dogs ready for adoption.
The adoption center is open from 1pm-5pm on Thursday's and Friday's and from 9am-12pm on Saturday's. You can also visit the humane society's website.
