GREENVILLE, NC (WITN) - This week's Pet of the Week from the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina is Ranger.
Ranger is a shepherd mix that is about a year old.
Volunteers say there is little information about Rangers past, but he has come out of his shell since being at the humane society and is enjoying his new life full of company and treats. They say he is very food motivated and is known to always be smiling.
The humane society will also be hosting a gift wrapping fundraiser from December 3-24 at the Greenville Mall near the Victoria’s Secret.
Volunteers will be spreading holiday cheer by wrapping gifts for a fee. Prices depend on the size of the gifts and all proceeds will benefit the humane society. Hours are Monday- Saturday from 10 am- 9 pm and Sunday from 12- 6 pm.
The adoption center will be closed for Thanksgiving.
Starting next week, the humane society will have new hours and will be open from 1- 5pm on Thursday’s and Friday’s, from 11- 4 pm on Saturday’s and 1- 4 pm on Sunday’s.
