This week's Pet of the Week from the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina is Linus.

Linus is a 2 year-old cat with beautiful ice blue eyes that capture the attention of those he meets. Linus isn't complaining about it-- volunteers say he loves attention and is not afraid to ask for it.

Volunteers say his fur is sparse right now because he had an allergy to fleas, but it is expected to grow back into a gorgeous coat once he is fully recovered.

The humane society has two month-long fundraisers underway, including the Time to Give with Baileys and the 3rd Annual Raise the Dogs with Votre.

You can bring your watch to Bailey's Fine Jewelry and have the battery changed for $10 throughout the entire month. All of those proceeds will be donated to the humane society.

A percentage of Votre Boutique sales will also be donated to the humane society throughout the month of November.

Both places are located in the Lynndale Shopping Center off Red Banks Road in Greenville.

The adoption center is open from 1pm-5pm on Thursday's and Friday's and from 9am-12pm on Saturday's. You can also visit the society's website

The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina brings adoptable animals every Wednesday at 6:25 a.m. on WITN News at Sunrise.
