Pamlico pinup calendar benefits new women's shelter

WASHINGTON, NC (WITN) - A group of ladies in Beaufort County is banding together to support a new women’s shelter opening in January 2019.

Their fundraiser ‘pinup’ calendar features ladies age 70 & up from across Beaufort County.

All proceeds will benefit the new Open Door Community Center for homeless women and their children in Washington, NC. The center is expected to open in January and will serve as a safe and secure facility where women can gain skills to help them transition into their own home.

The calendars are $15 cash and can be purchased at these locations:
