POLICE: Teller planned bank robbery at Greenville Walmart

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN)- Police say a bank teller at a local Walmart hatched a plan with a man who's been arrested for a robbery at the store.

Greenville Police say that Greenville residents Brooklyn Simmers, 24, and Travarus Barnhill, 24, have been charged with common law robbery and conspiracy to commit common law robbery.

The robbery happened this past Sunday at the Greenville Boulevard Walmart.

Investigators say that Simmers, who was a teller at the Woodforest Bank inside the Walmart, planned the robbery with Barnhill.

Simmers was charged the day of the robbery.

Barnhill was found early Friday morning in Highlands by the Macon County Sheriff's Office. He's being held at the detention center there.
