GREENVILLE, NC (WITN) - This week's Pet of the Week from the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina is Timon.

Timon is little hound mix who is about 2-3 months old. He and his brother, Pumbaa, were found by a volunteer. They were missing fur and had sores on their skin.

Pumbaa was adopted last week, so now Timon is looking for his forever home!

Timon is a playful pup filled with lots of love and a little bit of sass. Volunteers say he is ready to fit into any home that's willing to embrace the playfulness and sweetness that comes with raising a puppy.

The humane society is hosting one of their final Fluff and Puff's this Saturday, August 24 from 10am- 2pm. People can bring their dogs to Wasabi 88 in Greenville to have their dogs washed. Nail trims and anal gland expressions will also be offered for $10 each.

Owners must bring a current rabies certificate in order for their dogs to attend the event. The cost for large dogs is $15 and $10 for small dogs.

The adoption center is open from 1 pm-5 pm on Thursday's and Friday's and from 9 am-12 pm on Saturday's.

The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina brings adoptable animals every Wednesday at 6:25 a.m. on WITN News at Sunrise.
