PCC hosting summit for minority high school men

WINTERVILLE, NC (WITN) - Pitt Community College is gearing up for it's Inaugural "M.A.I.N.Summit" in Eastern Carolina.

"M.A.I.N." stands for "Males Addressing Issues & Needs."

The summit is being put on by leaders from PCC's Student Development & Community Standards President, Jasmin Spain.

120 high school minority male senior students have been identified and selected to participate in the personal development program.

Organizers say they want to give young men the tools they need to take the next steps in their future whether that is joining the workforce or pursuing higher education.

The summit is being held on Monday, December 18 from 8am-3pm at Pitt Community College.
