One person injured, one arrested in Greenville shooting

GREENVILLE, NC (WITN) One man was shot in Greenville after police say two groups got into a dispute and began shooting at each other.

Officers with the Greenville Police Department were called to Rosemont Apartments Tuesday evening for a report of shots fired.

Officers found one person, 19-year-old Quayshun Oden of Washington had been shot in the buttocks. His injury was not life threatening.

According to police, two groups of people involved in a dispute were shooting at each other in the parking lot.

GPD K9 Axle located a handgun under a trashcan.

Police arrested 19-year-old Zamian Harris of Washington at the scene for possession of a firearm by a felon and additional charges and arrests are pending.

The motive is still under investigation and no other injuries were reported.
