UPDATE: 19-year-old dies from injuries in Rocky Mount shooting

ROCKY MOUNT, NC (WITN) - UPDATE

Rocky Mount police say a 19-year-old who was shot last week has died.

Corporal Clay Wilder with the Rocky Mount Police Department has confirmed 19-year-old Keivon Bullock died from his injuries. Police say Bullock was shot at the intersection of Gold Rock Road and Greyson Road shortly before 5:00 p.m. on January 16th.

Police have identified a teenager who was shot Thursday afternoon in Rocky Mount.

Keivon Bullock was shot at the intersection of Gold Rock Road and Greyson Road shortly before 5:00 p.m. Thursday.

The 19-year-old was taken to UNC Nash Health Care for his injuries.

Rocky Mount police say one person was injured in a Thursday afternoon shooting.

At approximately 4:50 p.m., the Rocky Mount Police Department responded to a shooting call at the intersection of Gold Rock Road and Greyson Road. There officers found a person who had been shot.

Officers on the scene helped the victim until Nash County EMS arrived. The victim was transported to Nash Health Care for further treatment.

Police say the victim’s identity is being withheld at this time pending notification of next of kin.
