One charged in shooting at Farmville housing complex

PITT COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - A man is behind bars after police say he fired shots into a housing complex.

Farmville police arrested Thomas Streeter, 20, of Farmville on Friday.

Police say he shot a gun into a town home on Anderson Avenue back in October. Police say multiple people were inside the home at the time, including a 2-year-old and 10-month-old.

Streeter has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and discharging a weapon into occupied property.

He's being held at the Pitt County jail under a $800,000 bond
