Old Ford Rodeo to benefit local fire department

WILLIAMSTON, NC (WITN) - The Old Ford Fire Department Rodeo will again benefit the local fire department this year.

There will be bull riding, bare back and saddle bronc riding, calf and team roping, barrel racing and steer wrestling.

The rodeo will be held on Friday and Saturday February 22 and 23 at the Bob Martin Agricultural Center in Williamston.

There are evening shows at 8pm each night with doors opening at 6pm and there is also a family show scheduled for 1pm Saturday with doors opening at 11am.

The rodeo is described as an interactive family show where kids can go into the ring, rope and ride.

Tickets are $12 for adults, $6 for children ages 4-12, and kids under 3 get in for free to both 8pm shows.

The family show on Saturday afternoon is $12 for adults but all kids 12 & under get in for free with a paying adult.

Tickets are available at Uniforms PRN in Washington, Mario’s Boots in Greenville, Giddy-Up Coffee Shop in Williamston and at Howell’s Mercantile in Belhaven.
