MOREHEAD CITY, NC (WITN) - No one was hurt after a tractor-trailer loaded with Coca-Cola products caught fire Monday morning at a convenience store in Morehead City.
The truck started smoking around 9:45 a.m. at the Speedway on Arendell Street.
The cab of the truck was covered in flames. The driver, who was making a delivery at the store, was not in the truck at the time.
Firefighters doused the flames in about 10 minutes, but one eastbound lane on Arendell Street was closed for a while.
The fire department says the blaze began in the engine of the tractor-trailer and the fire has been ruled accidental.
