New art piece placed near 10th Street Connector

GREENVILLE, NC (WITN) A recently completed road project in Greenville has some new art for drivers to see while passing through.

ECU Professor and sculptor Hanna Jubran created the 16 and a half foot tall piece that stands along the 10th Street Connector.

Officials say the sculpture weighs about 1,900 pounds and cost about $50.000.

The new piece of art was paid for out of the center city revitalization 1994 bond fund and was placed near the bridge Thursday.
